October 21st 2015 marks the one year anniversary of Franklin Thompson's 'Rent Is Due'. Maketto and Thompson teamed up to host a party open to the public to come celebrate the brands success over the past year. Franklin greeted all of his guest at the door, as soon as they walked in. He looked sharp in a clean cut suit. Also upon entrance you were handed a piece of paper that shared the history behind the brand itself and how Franklin got to the position he's in now. Maketto was filled with good vibes, on the first floor one could see a display of the brand and converse with others. The option of having a meal was available on either floors. On the second floor there was more privacy, fashion and photography books were displayed for anyone interested. Franklin gave a speech to conclude the evening, thanking the crowd for coming out and supporting his movement.
