17 years ago $30 million was spent to create the largest stadium in the NFL. Located on a 200-acre site and max capacity of 85,000 people, The Washington Redskins can happily call FedEx Field home. Every year the Redskins have an insane amount of support from the local fans, win or lose, they will be there week in and out supporting the local stars. After countless successful years of selling out games and filling every seat in the stadium I have yet seen anyone acknowledge the beauty of the stadium itself. I suppose one gets lost in the environment when they see hundreds of people jam through the doors and rush to their seats to catch the kickoff of the game or rush out of the stadium to avoid being stuck in the parking lot.
